Impact of Art on the Brain
Learn how art is being used in rehabilitative medicine and the increasing evidence that art enhances brain function by impacting brain wave patterns, emotions, and the nervous system as well as raising serotonin levels, and how it can even stimulate the creation of new neural pathways and ways of thinking. Caroline Kohles, senior program director of Health and Wellness at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhatten, leads the discussion with artist Naomi Andrée Campbell and Dr. Felice Ghilardi.
